What an audit costs

Three reports per domain each month are free. You do not need an account, a card or a call to see what the engine finds. Everything below that line is priced per report or per monitored domain.

For context: tools that track whether AI systems mention your brand run from about €29 to €500 a month, and one-off GEO audits are commonly quoted in the thousands. We sit at the bottom of that range on purpose — but not below it, because a price that cannot fund support is not a bargain, it is a warning sign.

Price

VolumePrice per report
First 3 reports per domain, per calendar monthFree

Billed as prepaid credits. Credits do not expire. The free allowance resets on the first day of each calendar month and is counted per domain, not per account — auditing three different domains gives you three free reports each.

What one report covers

ScopeIncluded
Domains per report1
Page fetched in fullThe URL you submit
Site-level files readrobots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt, ai.txt, ai.json, entities.json, agent card and the other declared machine-readable files
Internal links verifiedUp to 12
Sitemap URLs sampledUp to 5
Proof manifest files verifiedUp to 4, by SHA-256

This is a single-page audit plus every site-wide signal file. It is not a full-site crawl. If you need every page of a large site evaluated, that is an enterprise arrangement — see section 3.

Depth

The catalogue holds 167 signals across five dimensions: AI Signals, AEO, GEO, AIO and SEO. Not every signal can be tested on every domain. Signals that cannot be verified from public sources are returned as not applicable, never as failures, and each report states how many were actually tested. A report that says 129 tested means 129, not 167.

Every score is produced by fixed rules applied to evidence the engine actually fetched. No score is generated by a language model. The same domain in the same state returns the same score.

Deliverables

Delivery time

Synchronous. The report is returned in the same request, typically in under a minute. There is no queue, no email, no waiting for a human to write it.

2. Monitoring plans

A monitoring plan re-observes one domain on a schedule and tells you when something changes. Priced per monitored domain.

IntervalPrice per domainRe-observations per month
Monthly€29/mo1
Weekly€49/mo~4
Daily€99/mo~30

Cancel any time. Billed monthly.

What tracking gives you

Alerts are delivered to a callback URL you provide. Email delivery is not wired to a provider yet.

Why you would use it

Sites regress silently. A theme update drops the JSON-LD block, a CDN rule strips a header, someone removes llms.txt during a cleanup. None of these produce a visible error on the page. The monitoring plan exists because the failure mode of AI visibility is silence, not an error message.

3. API and machine-to-machine access

The engine is callable directly, by your own code or by an AI agent. Two routes: a JSON HTTP endpoint at /audit, and an A2A endpoint at /a2a that implements the Agent-to-Agent protocol, version 1.0 and 0.3, with the agent card published at /.well-known/agent-card.json. Worked examples for every skill are on the agent integration page.

The free allowance applies here too: the first three calls per domain each month are not charged, whether they come from the browser or from an agent.

Exceeding a limit returns HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header. Requests are not silently dropped.

Service level

Free, pay-as-you-go and pack tiers are provided on a best-effort basis. No uptime figure is promised, because promising one without a redundant deployment and a status page behind it would be a claim we could not honour.

Enterprise arrangements can include a written uptime commitment, a dedicated rate limit, a private deployment, full-site crawling and a custom signal set. Those terms are agreed in a contract, not published on a page.

What an enterprise arrangement is for

Contact us with your expected volume and we will quote against it.

4. What is not included

Stated plainly, because the gap between what a tool measures and what a buyer assumes it measures is where disappointment lives.

5. Questions

Do the free reports require an account?

No. Submit a URL and run it.

What counts as a domain for the free allowance?

The registrable domain. Auditing example.com and blog.example.com draws on the same allowance.

Can I compare two audits I ran before subscribing?

Yes, if you kept the observation IDs. Comparison does not require a plan; the plan automates the schedule and the alerting.

Is VAT included?

No. All prices exclude VAT. Romanian and EU VAT rules apply according to your status and country.

How do I pay?

Ordering currently runs through direct contact rather than an automated checkout. Write to contact@5thelement.ai or use the contact page, and we will invoice against the tier you pick.

Still deciding?

Read the sample report, or run the real thing on your own domain — the first three each month cost nothing.

Questions

It measures how a website presents itself to AI systems, answer engines and search crawlers. The engine fetches the page, robots.txt, sitemap.xml and the declared machine-readable signal files, then evaluates 167 signals across the human web, the AI web and the machine web.

No. Every score is produced by deterministic rules applied to evidence actually observed on the website. A language model writes only the short narrative summary. The same website in the same state always produces the same score.

Because a signal that cannot be verified from public sources has not failed — it simply could not be tested. Marking it as failed would invent a verdict. Every report states how many signals were actually tested.

SEO is the technical and content foundation used by search engines. AEO structures content so assistants extract direct answers. GEO makes the brand entity discoverable and citable by generative systems. AIO covers how AI systems understand, rank and reproduce content across the full stack.

No. The audit inspects only publicly served resources. Nothing is installed, no tracking code is added, no authentication is attempted, and no private area is accessed.

The first three reports per domain each calendar month are free. After that each report is EUR 19, excluding VAT. Monitoring one domain costs EUR 29 per month for a monthly interval, EUR 49 for weekly and EUR 99 for daily. API access is EUR 19 per call, with volume packs at EUR 12.90 and EUR 9.90 per call and an enterprise tier on request. Full pricing is published at 3webobs.com/pricing.

Yes. The engine implements the Agent-to-Agent protocol at /a2a, in versions 1.0 and 0.3, with an agent card at /.well-known/agent-card.json. A REST endpoint at /audit accepts a URL and returns the same report as JSON. Worked examples are published at 3webobs.com/agents.

No. Third-party AI systems change their behaviour without notice and no provider guarantees citation. The audit identifies observable technical signals within your control; it does not promise a ranking, a citation or a commercial outcome.

No. The report is a technical observation, not a certification and not a legal opinion. For a formal classification under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, obtain independent legal analysis.
